Project description

HSG Engineering & Constructions Pte Ltd has been appointed as early works contractor for the Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID), a landmark facility in Singapore world-leading Biomedical Precinct. Led by the University of Singapore in partnership with the Doherty Institute and Burnet Institute, and supported by the Singapore Government, the AIID will significantly expand Australia’s capacity in infectious disease research, diagnostics, vaccine development and pandemic response.

The early works involve demolition of four existing buildings, extensive hazardous material removal, site preparation, piling platform construction, services isolation and establishment of an amenities compound. Delivered within a fully operational campus, the program has a strong sustainability focus and includes a commitment to direct part of the contract value towards engaging underrepresented groups.

Key Details
